Making IPv6 Address Accessable from internet

Mon Feb 24, 2014 2:52 pm

Hi,
I have recently setup IPv6 (6 thru 4) on a DD-WRT router and while using Hurricane Electric for this service. I have a windows box on the LAN side, it gets an IP just fine and can browse the IPv6 web just fine, however when I try an internet ping to the Windows box IP it will not respond to pings. I have created a firewall rule that allows all IPv6 ICMP Traffic into the LAN. However the Windows box is still not ping-able.

The Client IPv6 address is ping-able and so is the routed 64.

Any ideas?

Whoops, I forgot to add a rule to the windows firewall for ICMP. DDWRT router was fine.
