Router Addresses

Wed Feb 22, 2006 8:17 pm

The problem I'm having is that I need to know my IP address, but it is 192.168.1.101. I was informed recently that it was just a router address, so how do I find out a real IP address. If you have any other info about this topic would be helpful.

We're going to need clarification on this one, Mr Hatter.

Well, I mean I need a address other than the router address. For 'tracert'ing purposes, to see where my computers are on "Visual Route". (Great program by the way!)

Moving to Home Networking - General. Once again, this is not Cisco related...
