Dynagen/Dynamips Issues

Mon Feb 13, 2017 12:19 pm

I found the tutorial at:

http://www.iteasypass.com/Dynamips.htm

Followed the steps (I think) and can now get hypervisor to start.

I run it via opening simple1.net in Explorer:

Here's the contents of simple1.net:

# Simple lab

[localhost]

[[7200]]
image = \Program Files (x86)\Dynamips\images\c7200-jk9o3s-mz.124-7a.image
# On Linux / Unix use forward slashes:
# image = /opt/7200-images/c7200-jk9o3s-mz.124-7a.image
npe = npe-400
ram = 160

[[ROUTER R1]]
s1/0 = R2 s1/0

[[router R2]]
# No need to specify an adapter here, it is taken care of
# by the interface specification under Router R1

but I get this message:

Reading configuration file...

*** Warning: received dynamips error:
206-unable to create VM instance 'R1'
*** Warning: received dynamips error:
206-unable to create VM instance 'R2'

*** Error: errors during loading of the topology file, please correct them
Press ENTER to continue

I have what I think is an image file, a BIN file.
