Looking for advice

Mon Nov 23, 2015 12:48 pm

I've been a Service Desk tech (lvl2) for a few years and looking to move into networking. I'm retired military and have my GI Bill and would like to go for my CCENT to start.

Was hoping someone could recommend a good online training course/company? Maybe something a little more in-depth than one of the 7-day boot camp type of thing?

Thanks!

By far the best training company (videos/workbooks) is
http://www.INE.com

Anyway, besides the videos and all that, there is simply no substitute for some good old fashioned reading:
http://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/1587143879
http://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/1587204304

And you will be needing a lab, so look into GNS3/Dynamips with IOU images (if you can get them legally)
Or you can use the INE rack rental, but i think it is a bit overkill for CCNA.

Best of luck!
