Meraki Switches into Fortigate Firewall

Tue Feb 28, 2017 6:10 pm

I am looking at implementing a new network that was multiple WAN and Customer link interfaces coming into the network.

I have attached a design of the network.

The plan is to use 2x Meraki MS225-24 switches as the head-end which are connected to our Fortigate firewalls configured as an HA cluster.

There is an internet connection going into each of the switches and one customer firewall link into each switch, this needs to the pass through onto the Fortigates where they will be isolated into VDOMs. Will this require isolated ports on the switches with multiple links needed into the fortigate or can it be all be trunked across one connection?
