Follow the instructions of matgar's provided link and you will be back in business. The interface is recognized by the router and you assign an IP address to is via the documented commands. Rommon is a very limited OS and does not do show commands.

There is no IPv6 support in that version of IOS. Use Cisco Feature Navigator to find an IOS version that does.

Boundary router is on the edge of 'x' and connect to a foreign 'x' where x could be AS, route process, cloud, etc.

No auto summary is used to turn off summarizing router into classful networks.

For everything but Layer2(Data Link) the source comes first. A Frame has the destination MAC first for faster processing.
