N7009 is possibly overkill for your needs. Have you looked at the 5600 or 6k?

Also, it's VSPEX.

@that1guy15 Cost is relative. CAPEX will likely be higher with UCS vs a fixed solution, but OPEX should be lower (other network gear, mangement, power, cooling, availability, etc). I don't see UCS as a good fit for a small shop (maybe <10 servers?), but for mid/large deployments, it doesn't look too...

Right, blade vs fixed is much bigger discussion than UCS vs other blade vendor (or other fixed vendor). I'm not a systems guy, but my view on blade vs fixed is scale, manageability, portability, etc. Dig into service profiles to see how much value B series can give you over a fixed solution. Also, I...

You talking about B series? Also, what do you consider "DIY"? If you need a blade system that scales, UCS is tough to beat (price, features, manageability, etc).

Yeah, those existed before the NP DC and Cisco used the same exams for the specialist certs and the DC.
